Tampa hospitality company puts its commitment to community into action at the alma mater of Owner and CEO Karnardo Garnett.LEGACY HOSPITALITY COMPANIES presented a $5,000 donation to the Robinson High School girls flag football program on Sept. 30, supporting one of the most successful high school programs in the country. The gift will help offset program costs such as equipment and travel for the 2026–27 season. Giving back to the communities it serves is one of LEGACY HOSPITALITY COMPANIES’s core principles. The Tampa-based company operates food and beverage concessions at airports and standalone restaurants, including Habit Burger & Grill in Largo, and looks for ways to invest in the schools, youth sports, and neighborhood programs where its guests and team members live and work. Robinson’s program has set the standard for girls flag football nationally. In May, the Knights won the Class 2A state title, their 10th consecutive championship and 11th overall. It’s the longest title streak of any girls flag football program in the country. The donation carries added meaning for Legacy’s owner and CEO, Karnardo Garnett, a 1991 Robinson graduate who presented the check at his alma mater. “Taking care of the communities we serve is at the heart of who we are at Legacy Hospitality,” said Garnett. “These young women have built something remarkable through hard work, teamwork and a commitment to excellence, and we’re proud to support them.
